Still, I see hope for. Mobi domains
Thought write a few lines about why I still do not work out. Mobi TLD which - as some thought's about time.
I have on several occasions written that I particularly value this year (possibly even next) as critical to TLDns flip or flop.
What I found when and why, which may seem superstitious to this TLD?
The reasons are much more, but we take them one by one:
First of all, I'm sitting on a fair number. Mobi of various types, but it is obviously not the cause - I have no difficulty recognizing lower investment - usually the opposite, but I do not see it yet.
If we look at who is behind mtld.mobi (ie register. Mobi) it's a number of industry leading companies like Ericsson, Google, GSM Association, Hutchison (3), Microsoft, Nokia, Orascom Telecom, Samsung Electronics, Syniverse, T -Mobile, Telefonica Moviles, TIM, Visa and Vodafone.
If we look then at what the purpose of TLDn. Mobi is, so we have a thread called "mobile usage".
It is therefore a requirement for developers. Mobi addresses that they should be optimized for mobile use.
But it need not say when critics -. Mobi're overtaken and the need for a special mobile domänändelse no longer exists, then of course some are using xhtml, wap, etc. mDot instead. Mobi
These unsaved, I say - given it's true, technology is here. Mobi has some way to go, but just because the technology is to see, for example Aftonbladet's website on your handheld that does not mean that it is the solution. Why? "Bandwidth" when I answer - to download content to your handheld takes 2-5 meg .. For 1 page! then click on a few pages, so you soon have done with the iPhone's iMini half surfing consumption for that month (to take iPhones sold most abbonemang as an example).
Another reason that I stated is that more and more large companies around the world gather around. Mobi and the web forum listed mobility.mobi so most every day new and exciting services http://mobility.mobi/showthread.php?t=10 while I read recently. mobi states will reach a million registered domains. hmm more than a hundred thousand more. see - but counted. look away? no, but as a growth-TLD.
What I anyway think is that mobile browsing will explode in future will be in need of thinner / glue down the page content (other than the regular web pages) - There are now more mobile phones and handheld than there are PCs and TVs together, and although technique is to visit the "heavy" pages of your teddy bear, so it will cost too much for telecommunications operators to keep the flat rate and, most recently last Friday, I read that the telecom companies' earnings have fallen by five billion in just a few years.
No - I think we'll have to wait for 5-10 years before the majority of providers offer flat rate for mobile surfing - now I do not think it is reasonable. But in the meantime, we'll see about. Must admit I find it a bit odd that I have not received inquiries blah on my domains and internetbanken.mobi onlinebanken.mobi, given how many major international banks that have developed during services. Mobi
